Wilton Windmill reopens for the season on Sunday 31st March 2024, read on to discover what's on this year... Soon we will be milling flour again but there are still plenty of bags available in our normal outlets. A team of willing volunteers will be giving the entire mill a thorough spring clean ready for use again. But lots is still happening in the background to keep the mill in good order, you may have noticed that the cap has recently been repainted and the sails have been repaired and is now looking very smart indeed.
The windmill is opened by volunteers who provide tours on Sundays between 2pm and 5pm, with the last tour starting at 4.30pm. They run from Sunday 31st March until Sunday 29th September 2024 and there is no booking system, just turn up!
On all other days the windmill is available for hire or for group visits, so if you've ever fancied having your very own windmill or want to book a visit for your group or work colleagues for some team building, please do get in touch.
Of course, someone else may have booked your day already, so you can always check availability on our live calendar.

May 11th and 12th 2024 National Mills Weekend - This is a national day across the UK and Wilton Windmill, like many other windmills and watermills are open free of charge.
Saturday and Sunday June 15th and 16th 2024 - our fantastic, ever popular, sell out Murder Mystery event returns for a jovial evening of merriment and murder!
