The Pre-season Maintenance day is planned for Sunday 10th March starting at 10.00. The Windmill opens for the summer season at Easter and this day gives us a chance to clean-up ready for visitors and get set for milling.
On the day we hope to oil the gear teeth and external doors, lime-wash the internal walls, reassemble the millstones and tidy/clean all floors and windows. No special skills required but come in overalls or old clothes. We aim to finish at about 12.30 and have drinks and light refreshments in the Shepherd’s Hut afterwards.
