Stunning Wilton Windmill is owned by Wiltshire Council.  However, it’s managed and operated by the Wilton Windmill Society which is a voluntary organisation having responsibility for the day to day operation and maintenance of the Windmill and here’s how to contact us.  Our volunteers give freely of their time to keep this wonderful working mill alive, milling the flour and providing excellent guided tours.   They will be pleased to chat to you in our shepherd’s hut shop while you enjoy some welcome refreshments.

If you would like to hire the mill for an event just let us know!  It’s an ideal location for a spooky halloween or camping sleepover and for photographing the night sky.  Maybe you have a special anniversary to celebrate, wish to bring a group of mill enthusiasts or friends or perhaps make a TV program featuing the mill – just let us know, will will be pleased to help!

The answers to many questions you may have can be found on our website, particularly with regards to opening times and charges but if you can’t find what you need to know, just ask! We are always pleased to answer questions relating to the mill and its history, and likewise we love to hear from people who can tell us about their local connections with the mill.  We are always on the loook out for new volunteers to help the Society with the running of the mill so why not join us?  You can leave suggestions, queries or feedback about your visit to the Windmill using the form below, on our Facebook page, on Twitter or on Trip Advisor.
